"This Cranio Sacral Therapy course deepened my connection and communication with the intelligent power that resides in our human body...CST is such a priceless gift to be able to share with another.
Kandice created a Sacred container in which she presented a well organized course with great support and gentle attentive guidance...the follow up therapy exchanges as an extension of the course allows the much needed hands on experience and sharing to ensure continuity of the integration of all that was learnt. May more Souls be inspired to learn and share this gem of healing therapy "

Craniosacral therapy and the Craniosacral System
Our body has its own intelligence and information. The information stored in your body from the past can contribute to chronic illnesses of the body, mind and emotions.
Craniosacral therapy is a non-invasive, gentle yet powerful hands-on therapy that can be used to balance the craniosacral system and clear this information from your clients to up-level their healing.

The Craniosacral system is a unique and regular rhythm in the body that includes the meningeal membranes that surround and support the brain and spinal cord, the bones of the head to which they attach and the cerebrospinal fluid that surrounds and protects the brain. It also includes the connective tissue and fascia - a covering found around the entire body, down to the cellular level.

Balancing and releasing restrictions in the craniosacral system will support all systems in the body - including the musculoskeletal, endocrine, cardio-respiratory, gastrointestinal, lymphatic, immune and reproductive systems - to create long-lasting improvements in overall well-being and support our inherent inner self-clearing, self-regulating and innate healing force.

Craniosacral Therapy Research Studies
Craniosacral Therapy Use in Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus
Upon craniosacral therapy to improve the flow of CSF, the patient’s symptoms improved a few days after the first session. Weekly follow-up therapy was performed. After 3.5 weeks, the patient was asymptomatic. Continued monitoring and monthly craniosacral therapy to improve the flow of CSF were performed. In conclusion, craniosacral therapy can be utilized in relieving a patient’s NPH symptoms. Performed at regular intervals, it was shown to be an effective treatment that can be used in a stepwise approach prior to a more invasive treatment such as a CSF shunt.

Craniosacral Therapy and Post-concussion
Ten sessions of specific CST resulted in a statistically greater reduction in pain intensity, and greater improvements in mechanical ROM, memory, physical reaction time, and duration of sleep in patients with post-concussion up to 3 months after the intervention.

Ten sessions of craniosacral therapy resulted in a statistically greater improvement in pain intensity, haemoglobin oxygen saturation, systolic blood pressure, serum potassium, and magnesium level than did 10 sessions of classic massage in patients with low back pain.

Effect of a Craniosacral Therapy Protocol in People with Migraine: A Randomized Controlled Trial
A treatment protocol based on craniosacral therapy is effective in reducing pain intensity, migraine severity, frequency of attacks, functional and emotional disability, and symptomatic medication intake, as well as improving the post-treatment perception of change in patients suffering from migraine ≥4 days per month, maintaining such changes 1 month after the intervention. This reproducible manual therapy protocol may be considered as a valid therapeutic approach in individuals with migraine.
